The search began for a higher purpose in life here with ordinary people like Buddha, Mahavira, Patanjali, Ramana Maharishi and many others, who have become enlightened through meditation. Today people from all over the world flock to this great land in the search for meaning in their lives. To search for something, the thing that can not be expressed through words, which we have taken for granted or forgotten.

What is meditation? We hear all the time, and how it will help contemplates live safer lives, but how many of us take the time to practice it? Sit with eyes closed in the lotus position, why is this so difficult for us? What is the thing that we seem to missing that seemed clear to the Buddha and other enlightened masters?

Ok so, let’s say you’ve decided to learn their secret and try to learn meditation. I was sitting in meditation class with your eyes closed. He says the teacher emptying your mind, do not think and just watch. Ummm, ok! Even to try it, and all that happens is to remember yoursister or friend or something you forgot to do … .. right? And, you punished yourself and try again, say to yourself:

“No, no ideas, and go back to watching, oh wait, those shoes I saw in the shop earlier, looked awesome, and I’m wondering if they have my size? Fuck off! Well let’s start again. Emptying the mind and watch.”

And so we begin again. So what’s missing? What made it possible for thousands of us to achieve self-fulfillment?

Allow me to enlighten you (pardon the pun). Therefore, the secret that no one tells us is an hour. Yes, they tell you to watch, but watch what? Show all, like it’s the big screen in your mind. Our thoughts and our feelings come come. So let them come and eventually they will slowly, but surely start to disappear and then what’s left is a small glimpse of pure bliss. But these moments will be few and far between. That is why it is said, that needs to be practiced meditation daily. Sit down and start watching breath going in and breathing out, and when you get distracted with thoughts, do not worry. When you remember that you forgot to watch the breath, just start again. And remember, do not get distracted whatever comes into your head, good ideas, bad ideas and good feelings and bad feelings. it does not matter. Ideas are just ideas and feelings are just feelings, but what is beyond that, behind these classes, is what we are trying to see. Accept everything that goes through your mind and accept yourself, and show empathy with yourself and love yourself in all your colors, you will be able to show the same to others. So, slowly but surely, it will become more secure. And you will begin to see the world from a different perspective. And compassion to get people to grow and you will begin to see the beauty exists every day around you. I was simply too busy to see him, running after whatever it is that drives you, money, power, prestige, your desires, it does not matter.

Spend an hour a day, and just sit and meditate, rather than in front of the TV, on your social network or any other excuse you can think of that do not do this. This is because of meditation do not add in your life, and your life is certainly duller and less colorful. But you would not know it until you start meditation and see the difference for yourself.
